Why This Trade Would Benefit The Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls have been featured in NBA trade rumors sending away either Zach LaVine or Lauri Markkanen because of their value. The Bulls’ front office could decide to go a completely different way and buy at the NBA trade deadline rather than sell. If this happens, it seems likely that the team decides to add an experience point guard.
Kyle Lowry fits the bill perfectly. He is a winning player with a tough mindset that would change the culture for the pools right away. He is the type of coach on the floor that the offense needs. LaVine is one of the best scorers in the game averaging 28.4 points per game while marking in has taken over the role of the stretch four within the offense.
Now, all the Bulls need is someone to run the show. Lowry would be able to mentor Coby White and get him ready for the future. With this being the last year of his deal, the Bulls will have a decision to make with Lowry at the end of the season.

The Eastern Conference is extremely weak and the Bulls have to feel like they could sneak it to the postseason. This will be a big step for a team that has been unable to find any success recently. One big trade could get them over the hump and into a lower seat in the postseason.
