This Bulls-Raptors trade is focused on Kyle Lowry

The Toronto Raptors are not where they want to be in the Eastern Conference race. This is a team that has been near the top of the standing to each of the last two NBA seasons but has taken a big step. This means we can start to see some moves being made and could begin with one of their best players in franchise history.

The player we are talking about is Kyle Lowry. He has spent many years in Toronto and has done great things for the franchise, including being a part of their lone championship team.

Lowry is in the final year of his contract and at his age, it is unlikely that the Raptors decide to keep him around. With that being said, Lowry still is playing the game at a high-level and the Raptors can look to take advantage of his value.

This is where the Chicago Bulls could come in to play. This is another team that is looking to take a step this season. Unlike Toronto, the Bulls have been near the bottom of these over the past few years.

Despite having some big names like a Zach LaVine and Lauri Markannen, the Bulls have been able to put it together on the floor. They brought in Billy Donovan to be the head coach in hopes that he could begin to build a winner.

For this plan to work in Chicago, they will need to add another star. Lowry could be their name and this deal could get him to Chicago at the NBA trade deadline.
