Why This Trade Would Benefit The Chicago Bulls

There has to be a rebuild in the Chicago Bulls’ future. They brought in Billy Donovan to be the head coach and this could be just the first of many moves. Chicago has some big names but has been unable to put it together over time. It seems as though if there is a blockbuster trade, Zach LaVine would be the first one on his way out.

This is because of the return that he would bring. Zach LaVine has turned into an elite scorer in the league from all three levels. Tyler Herro would headline the return. He is beginning to take the next step and would be able to team up with players like Coby White and Patrick Williams. This would give the Bulls a core to rely on moving forward.

Andre Igoudala and Kelly Olynyk would be short-term options given their current contract situations. The Bulls are a team that would benefit greatly from loading up on draft capital. They could either make the picks or use them in another deal.

The front office of Chicago has some work to do and that’s why they could end up in NBA trade rumors closer to the deadline. The Bulls have a rich history of success and it will take a lot to get them back near the top of the Eastern Conference.
