This Bulls-Heat blockbuster trade features Zach LaVine to Miami

The struggles for the Miami Heat have been extremely visible during the first 20 games of the season. They have a history of making big-splash deals and they could be moving towards another this season. While he hasn’t been linked lately in NBA trade rumors, the Chicago Bulls have an intriguing option in Zach LaVine.

Zach LaVine is the biggest name the Bulls have. He is in the midst of another All-Star caliber season with 26.6 points per game. LaVine is shooting 51% from the field and 41.9% from three-point range. Chicago is currently 8-11 which is near the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

The Bulls have been mentioned in NBA trade rumors as potential sellers at the trade deadline and Zach LaVine would be the first name gone, along with Lauri Markkanen. If the front office decides to pull the trigger, there are many teams that would be interested.

The Miami Heat should be one of those teams on the phone. Miami is currently 7-13 and things are getting dicey. Jimmy Butler is back in the lineup but has been limited to just eight games this season. This has caused some inconsistencies over the first few weeks. Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro have stepped up so far.

Bam Adebayo is averaging 20.1 points and 9.1 rebounds per game while Herro is right up there with 17 per night. Miami will have to make another deadline deal if they want to get back to the postseason with a chance to make a deep run.

Zach LaVine would be a perfect fit for the Miami Heat. Here is what it might take to get him in Miami this season.
