New Orleans Pelicans Receive: Myles Turner, Jeremy Lamb

Indiana Pacers Receive: JJ Redick, Lonzo Ball, Jaxson Hayes, 2021 1st Round Pick

Myles Turner would be a welcomed addition to the frontcourt in New Orlean and provide a needed presence as both a rim protector and stretch-five. Along with Turner, the Pacers would send Jeremy Lamb to New Orleans as a rotation player.

The future of this Pelicans team is Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson. It’s clear the current configuration of their roster is not optimized around their skill-sets. The best option would be to find a better complement at the five spot to their franchise cornerstones.

The Pelicans would be able to unload some of the players who have been recently mentioned in NBA trade rumors. New Orleans wouldn’t move Adams in this trade directly since Indiana does not need to trade Myles Turner for a center.

It begins with JJ Redick and Lonzo Ball. Both would be able to contribute right away for a playoff team like the Pacers. Jaxson Hayes and a first-round pick in this year’s draft would finish the deal for both sides.

Let’s take a look and see how this trade centered around Myles Turner would benefit both the Indiana Pacers and New Orleans Pelicans.
