Kyle Anderson – Memphis Grizzlies
Kyle Anderson is a proven defender in this league and has been getting better and better as a legitimate two-way threat on the wing. Many believed that the Grizzlies overpaid Anderson when he signed with them ahead of the 2018-19 season, but each and every year he has improved and this season, he is having the best year of his career.
Anderson is currently averaging 12.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and is shooting 35.4% from three-point range. His all-around versatility and understanding of where to be on the court is what makes Kyle Anderson such a unique player and at just 27-years old, he is an experienced player who could make a difference in Utah.
While he does not possess All-Star potential and will not be a 20+ points per game type of player, you know what you are getting with a guy like Kyle Anderson and he is a very consistent wing. He will score about 12-15 points per game, adding about 5-8 rebounds and 3-6 assists every night.
Kyle Anderson can provide the Jazz with stability on the wing both in their starting rotation and coming off-the-bench. Whatever role he is needed for, Anderson is more than capable of stepping up and doing it for his team.
He is under contract this year and next year as well and is owed just over $19M through the 2021-22 season, again, making it difficult for the Jazz to shake their roster up in terms of cap space to acquire him, but given his versatility and the many things he brings to the table, Kyle Anderson may turn out to be a very worthwhile trade target for the Utah Jazz.
