OG Anunoby – Toronto Raptors
Last year, OG Anunoby had a breakout year and this season, he is continuing his success and growing into a very solid and versatile player on the wing. Not only does Anunoby lead the league in steals per game with 2.1 steals/game, but he ranks 5th on the Raptors in scoring this season and 4th on the team in rebounding. Not to mention, he currently ranks 31st in the league in three-point shooting percentage.
The 23-year old forward has been a huge asset for the Raptors, which is why the Jazz would really have to put together an intriguing trade package in order to bring him to Salt Lake City. Unlike George Hill, OG Anunoby offers plenty of upside moving forward for the Jazz and could be a wing they could utilize for many years to come.
The reason why OG Anunoby would be such a great fit in Utah is because of his versatility on the wing and his willingness to sacrifice to make his team better. He is not really known as being a big-time scorer, but he has scored in double-figures in all but three games this season and has stepped up and scored 20+ points four times this season when the Raptors were missing one of their key players.
He is the definition of what a “glue guy” in the NBA is and with a very unselfish Utah Jazz team, OG Anunoby could grow into one of the best all-around wing players in the league. The Jazz should be willing to adjust their roster to bring in a guy like Anunoby, who could be the difference in them being a legit championship contender.
