Derrick Rose
The Brooklyn Nets could use a veteran presence off the bench, and one of the best on the market could be Detroit’s Derrick Rose. Rose, a 32 year old point guard, would be a great fit in Brooklyn and could help them get back on track.
Derrick Rose is having a bit of a resurgence this season and is proving he still has what it takes to play in the NBA. Rose is averaging 13.9 points per game, two rebounds per game, and 5.4 assists per game. Rose is also shooting just over 40 percent from the floor and 28.6 percent from behind the arc.
Rose would be a solid player for any team to acquire, but adding him to a team that’s sure to be a solid seed in the playoffs at the end of the season seems like a no brainer.
The Pistons could likely get some NBA Draft capital for Derrick Rose, which should honestly be all it takes to land the serviceable veteran. Detroit should be headed for a legitimate rebuild abd capitalizing on the trade value of solid veteran contributors is an ideal outcome.
