Miami Heat Receive: G Bradley Beal

Washington Wizards Receive: F Duncan Robinson, G Kendrick Nunn, F/C Kelly Olynyk, MIA 2022 1st Round Pick, MIA 2025 1st Round Pick

Getting Bradley Beal would be a dream come true for the Miami Heat’s front office, especially if they would be able to keep Tyler Herro. Washington would probably want Herro in any trade package for Beal, but at the end of the day, getting two young guys in Robinson and Nunn could be just as good for the Washington Wizards.

Last season, Duncan Robinson averaged 13.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and shot 47% from the floor, 44.6% from three-point range. He emerged as one of the best three-point shooters in the league last year, making a total of 270 three-pointers, third most in the league, and ranking 4th in three-point shooting percentage.

Kendrick Nunn also had his impact on the Heat and was a big part of their success last year. During the regular season, the rookie averaged 15.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and shot 35% from three-point range. He finished 2nd in the Rookie of the Year voting and shows a lot of potential moving forward to be a franchise point guard.

While the Wizards just traded for Russell Westbrook this offseason and have big plans for him and Bradley Beal moving forward, they have started the season as one of the worst teams in the league, which has to be concerning for Washington’s management.

They invested a lot into putting these two star players together and with things not working out, Washington could be willing to listen to what they could potentially get for Beal. With that being said, let’s take a closer look as to why this trade makes sense for both the Heat and Wizards.
