This Celtics-Pistons trade sends Derrick Rose to Boston

The Boston Celtics are a team that is ready to win now. They were able to make a run to the Eastern conference Finals during the re-start, but were taken down by the Miami Heat. Danny Ainge still could be looking to make some improvements and Detroit Pistons guard Derrick Rose could make sense.

Boston still needs to improve their front-court. Bam Adebayo was able to get the better of them during the conference finals. Aside from their bigs, Boston needs to figure out what they want to do at the point guard position.

They have played around with the idea of trading Kemba Walker, which would shake up the depth chart. It is unknown whether or not those discussions will continue moving forward.

The Pistons made it a priority to get bigger down low. They made the big free agency signing of Jerami Grant along with many other forwards. That means they could be looking to move veteran players such as Blake Griffin.

Another name to keep an eye on is Rose. The Pistons are in a rebuilding faze, which means they are looking to get younger and Rose does not fit into the plan.

If Derrick Rose is truly on the trading black, the Celtics could take a long look at the veteran to add to their lineup. Here is what a potential trade might look like between the two sides.
