Collin Sexton Makes Considerable Strides In His Development

Why will Collin Sexton improve you ask? Well, because he is the only bright spot for this Cleveland Cavaliers organization and if they are going to make the playoffs at some point in the next decade, it will be because of this kid.

In his second full season in the league, Collin Sexton averaged 20.8 points, while shooting 47.2% from the floor and 38% from three-point range. He has a knack for scoring and given the fact that he led this terrible team in scoring last year, he will likely pull a “Zach LaVine” and score even more for his non-playoff-contender team this year.

He may even average upwards of 25 points per contest, especially if the Cavaliers decide to trade Kevin Love and assuming Sexton remains healthy. He has never missed a single game in his first two years in the league and due to the fact that he has to know his team is in no position to make the playoffs, he will go out every night and do what he does best, score the basketball.

Collin Sexton will take a massive step in his career this season and will likely be a focal point of a lot of offseason chatter because of his play. If the Cavaliers feed into these trade rumors and get rid of Collin Sexton, they will set themselves up for yet another decade of failure and disappointment.

Not only is he the best player on this roster, but he is the best thing to happen to the Cavaliers since LeBron James left in 2018. This team will win as many games this season as Collin Sexton carries them to and he is one of the better, younger players in the game and will prove it this season.
