The Pistons could make sense for Wall depending on the future of Derrick Rose.

Rose is entering the final season of his contract, and he’s extremely affordable. Detroit could capitalize on his trade value and trade him to a team that needs him such as the Clippers, Warriors, or Lakers to name a few.

If Rose is moved, Wall could come in as the veteran star guard. Wall’s contract could be a problem for the Pistons, but if Blake Griffin is traded, if would open up payroll flexibility to make something work with the Wizards.

The Pistons are not a team that is ready to win next season, but Wall would give them some credibility either in addition to Griffin, or in place of him if Griffin is moved.
