1. New York Knicks

The New York Knicks need a lot of help at many positions. This is especially true at point guard, where it feels like they have not had a decent option since Clyde Frazier. The Knicks currently have the No. 8 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and should draft Killian Hayes if he is available.

The idea of drafting a French point guard might turn off Knicks’ fans and for good reason. Frank Ntilikina has been a complete bust and is a player that the Knicks need to try and get rid of. Aside from Ntilikina, Elfrid Payton and Dennis Smith Jr. are also on the depth chart.

To say there is no formidable option in New York is an understatement. We discussed how this is a point guard-oriented league and it is time for the Knicks to finally land a franchise level guard.

The Knicks need to draft a guard with this pick or they need to find a trade partner. There have been talks of New York being interested in landing a superstar with an undesirable contract. They could trade this pick and players like Ntilikina or Kevin Knox. If they make the pick, Hayes is the perfect player.
