2. Washington Wizards
The John Wall days are over for the Washington Wizards. He is getting older and is coming off serious injuries. There is a small chance that he returns to being the player he once was. If Killian Hayes is falling into their lap, it would be silly to pass.
Washington could be interested in trading Bradley Beal this offseason. That means a complete rebuild would be in place. Why not land the next franchise point guard if possible?
The Wizards might be interested in trying to land Ball or draft a big man but a point guard could help fans forget about the horror of Wall. A need for talent and depth at the point guard position is needed to compete in the league and that is what Hayes will bring.
The Wizards are another team that needs a lot of help. They could go many ways with this pick but if Hayes is on the board, it would be too good to pass up on.
