The Clippers don’t have much to offer in the way of picks, thanks to the Paul George trade.
It remains to be seen if they could come to an agreement on players in a trade, but John Collins could be an ideal fit for the Clippers.
Collins will make just $4.1 million next season before he’s eligible to reach restricted free agency. As far as a value, Collins’ production far outweighs his compensation — as is usually the case when a late first round pick pans out.
Collins could help the Clippers try to avenge their unsettling loss in last year’s playoffs, as Los Angeles enters its final guaranteed season with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
