Golden State Warriors
The Warriors need a true center on the roster, and Drummond could fit from a positional stand point.
Golden State would need to move Andrew Wiggins to be able to take on Drummond’s salary, so theoretically, that’s a hurdle that needs to be cleared.
But Drummond’s fit as a true center means he could flourish more on the Warriors than some other teams.
One knock on Andre Drummond as the game has evolved, is the fact that Drummond is a poor shooter outside of the paint. Drummond has shot just 14.6 percent from beyond the arc in his career.
As players such as Brook Lopez and Nikola Jokic have added the three-pointer to their game, Drummond has not. But on the Warriors, three point shooting is arguably their last need. Drummond could play a more traditional role in Golden State if he’s dealt from Cleveland.
