Minnesota Timberwolves

The only team that can offer a better pick than Golden State is the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Minnesota views the No. 1 pick as an asset, and if they can acquire a star with it, the Timberwolves should go all-in.

The No. 1 pick would give the 76ers the chance to draft LaMelo Ball, whom many expect to be the top pick.

In Minnesota, Ben Simmons would join Karl-Anthony Towns on a retooled roster which traded Andrew Wiggins last season to acquire D’Angelo Russell.

The Timberwolves should immediately enter the playoff picture if they acquire Simmons, as he and Towns would be among the more fascinating duo’s in the league.
