The Philadelphia 76ers and new head coach Doc Rivers are able to keep their options open as it pertains to Ben Simmons. Philadelphia can keep their core of Simmons, Embiid and Al Horford intact, or the Sixers could look for an overwhelming trade offer.

If the Sixers are open to a trade, they would have to decide which star to keep and build around, and which to move.

As the NBA draft approaches next month, Simmons will be the subject of trade speculation. Teams with high lottery picks and teams with a multitude of assets would have the best chance to acquire Simmons if the Sixers decide to move the 24-year-old.

Simmons would be extremely valuable in a trade if the Sixers feel they can build around Embiid. Philadelphia would likely get a mix of picks and/or young players in return for Simmons.
