Aaron Gordon, Forward, Orlando Magic
There is no question that Aaron Gordon would be an interesting addition for the Lakers. While they already have Kyle Kuzma, Gordon would be a better fit and would add more upside for Los Angeles.
Gordon is a capable scorer and ended up averaging 14.4 points per game for the Magic this season. That number was down considerably from the 16.0 points he averaged in 2018-19 and the 17.6 he averaged in 2017-18.
Many believe the Magic will look to deal Gordon this offseason. Can you imagine his athleticism running the court alongside LeBron James?
At just 25 years old, Gordon would add athleticism, scoring, the ability to stretch the floor, and decent defense to the Lakers’ front-court. Making the move to L.A. could unlock Gordon’s full potential. If that were to happen, he could end up being the third piece of a lethal “Big Three” in Los Angeles.
