Clippers get: James Harden (via Sixers), PJ Tucker (via Sixers)

Heat get: Malcolm Brogdon (via Blazers), Jonathan Isaac (via Magic)

Knicks get: Marcus Morris (via Clippers)

Magic get: Evan Fournier (via Knicks), Amir Coffey (via Clippers), Protected Wizards’ 2024 first-round pick (via Knicks)

NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: James Harden, PJ Tucker, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Clippers Updates

Harden and Tucker are very close friends. In fact, Harden took a pay cut last offseason so the Sixers could sign Tucker in free agency. The Clippers, who have been trying to acquire Harden since he requested a trade to them, are very high on Tucker as well, league sources told NBA Analysis Network.

Harden averaged 21.0 points, 6.1 rebounds and 10.7 assists last season. The 10-time All-Star and 2017-18 MVP led the NBA in assists per game for the second time in his career. Clippers stars Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Russell Westbrook want Harden to land in Los Angeles, sources said.

Meanwhile, Tucker put up 3.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in 2022-23. He’s a good 3-point shooter from the corner and can still play strong defense despite being 38.

NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: James Harden, PJ Tucker, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Clippers Updates

The Clippers, who haven’t reached the NBA Finals since getting Leonard and George in the summer of 2019, could start Harden, Westbrook, George, Leonard and Ivica Zubac and bring Tucker off the bench if Los Angeles’ front office figured out a way to acquire Harden and Tucker from Philadelphia.
