In my opinion, planning anything with Williamson in mind seems to be a risky endeavor. He seems to be unable to stay healthy for as long as he lives.
At the same time, they have to plan around Williamson at the same time. He is still on the roster and he is one of the best players in the NBA when he is healthy.
In order for the Pelicans to be successful, they need to operate under the assumption that he will be able to play. So, we’ll do the same.
Williamson is an elite offensive player, but his limited mobility makes him a liability on offense. What type of big should he play alongside? How about the exact opposite?

Claxton is a limited offensive player. Still, with his quick feet and long arms, he can guard across positions. This is a big man who can make up for Williamson’s shortcomings on that end of the floor.
