There is no doubt that the NBA is always changing. You can rest assured that it will change again in the near future. In the past, point guards were only responsible for distributing the ball.

As a result, they are now expected to score goals. They didn’t shoot at all. Now, it’s hard to win without at least one stretch five on your roster. 

There are some aspects of this league that could be considered a copycat. In a situation where everyone else has a big man who can shoot and you don’t, it will be very difficult to keep up with the other teams. 

It is important to remember, however, that zigging where others zig can also have its own benefits. It can be argued that the Pelicans have been trying to do exactly that.
