Damian Lillard wants to leave the Portland Trail Blazers in the near future. It would be hard to blame him for doing so, would it? 

It is the second season in a row that the Blazers have missed the playoffs. This is a situation that we have been speculating about for years now.

Fortunately, it appears that this issue will finally be resolved in the near future. There seems to be a good fit between both sides as far as timing is concerned. There is no denying that Lillard is getting older.

Even though he is still one of the best offensive players in the game, that is likely to change over the course of the next few years. In the meantime, the Blazers already have their replacement on hand.
