Why The Oklahoma City Thunder Do The Deal
In our opinion, that is not the case. In the future, the Thunder will be able to sort out those problems. Is it possible that they have too many assets? Great work.
There is a problem with that. As a matter of fact, it happens to be one of the best problems an NBA team could possibly have.
Conversely, the Thunder would do well if they put together a roster that can compete next season based on component pieces.
It is probably a good idea to start with a true big man. It is possible for them to become an elite defensive team if they have Ayton anchoring the interior with Holmgren acting as a weak side-shot blocker.
As a result, they will need to replace the defensive wings that they will lose here. Lucky for them, they will be able to do so in free agency since they will have the cap space available.
