Why The Phoenix Suns Do The Deal

Phoenix is not going to be able to make it to the playoffs with a playoff push alone. A minimum of an appearance in the NBA Finals next season is what this team needs to achieve.

As a matter of fact, they have just brought Bradley Beal to their team, which already includes Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal. Although the Suns may have the best trio in the NBA – they will be sorely lacking in depth when it comes to their roster.

That is, unless they make a deal like this one, that is. Dort and Williams are exactly the type of defensive wings this team lacks on the wings.

While Bertans is overpaid, even his floor spacing will provide some value to the Suns, despite the fact that he is overpaid.

Similarly to the Thunder, they will need to make additional moves in order to be successful. It is imperative that the Suns find a low-cost, ring-chasing big man in free agency if they intend to compete for titles.

This deal should make them a better team in the long run if they can accomplish that goal. The bottom line is that it will put them in a great position for the future.
