LeBron James is one of the best NBA players of all time. Full stop. Some think he’s the very greatest. You may not agree.
With that said, no matter where you stand, you should stop and appreciate him while you can. After all, James won’t be around forever. This is a player nearing the end of his career.
Soon enough, LeBron James will be a part of NBA history. That time hasn’t come yet. Surely, the Los Angeles Lakers are well aware.
James’ presence on this roster gives them a window that they need to maximize. They used the midseason trade deadline to become a more balanced roster, which led to a Western Conference Finals appearance. What more can be done?
The Lakers would benefit from adding another perimeter talent with dynamic scoring punch who can play both on and off the ball.
Could it motivate them to acquire Gary Trent Jr. of the Toronto Raptors?
