What is a 3-and-D worth? That’s another good question. In fact, establishing the worth of any NBA player is currently difficult.

The league’s trade market is a little bit inflated at the moment. The Rudy Gobert and Dejounte Murray trades of last summer set quite the precedent.

The Utah Jazz received four first-round picks for Gobert, and the San Antonio Spurs landed three in exchange for Murray. 

With that in mind, the Nets allegedly turned down four first-round picks in exchange for Mikal Bridges at this year’s deadline. Something may have to give here.
