Sure. On the other hand, were teams loyal to players? Of course not. They were always willing to make whatever trade they thought would benefit them. Now, players are taking the same approach.
Welcome to the player empowerment era. You don’t have to like it, but you should accept it. If Irving wants to be a Sun next year, he can force a sign and trade to make that happen.
