The Atlanta Hawks had a disappointing 2022-23 NBA season. It seems as if they’re preparing to respond to it. 

In fact, all options are apparently being looked at. Recently, a report has been surfacing that their front office has the green light to move anybody – including Trae Young.  

This doesn’t mean the Hawks are trading Young. There will be plenty of other moves available to them. Atlanta may ultimately prefer to make a more marginal move besides trading their best player. 

On the other hand, we wouldn’t rule it out. Young is a complicated player. He’s one of the best offensive players in the NBA, and one of its worst defenders.

If Atlanta moved on from him, that wouldn’t come as a shock.
