NBA superstar Kyrie Irving has a way of complicating matters. He isn’t just good at basketball.

He’s one of the most naturally talented players in NBA history. With that said, he’s a complex personality. 

Perhaps that’s part of why his first run with the Dallas Mavericks went so poorly.

It’s hard to say, but one thing is certain – the Mavericks didn’t close out the season as they’d hoped to once they acquired him. 

Now, Irving is due to hit free agency in the summer. The Mavericks will look to retain him, but if they can’t, they’d surely prefer to orchestrate a sign-and-trade.
