Why The Golden State Warriors Do The Deal 

A couple of years ago, Towns’ trade value would have been higher than this. 

By now, it’s fair to question his ability to win. Towns is a gifted offensive big man, but his poor interior defense has been problematic for the Timberwolves. 

The Warriors may be able to cover it. If anyone can compensate for a poor defender, it’s Draymond Green. In that sense, he and Towns are a perfect front-court pairing. 

More broadly – how do you guard this? The Warriors already have the best shooter in NBA history. Now they’re adding one of the best shooting big men of all time.
