After all, the Oklahoma City Thunder’s GM has been stockpiling first-round picks for years. If he’s been waiting for q superstar to become available, he won’t do better than Doncic.
This is one of the best players in the National Basketball Association.
He may not be the cleanest fit with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. We suspect the Thunder would make it work. If they can surround the two with the best 3-and-D players they can find, the pair should be able to co-exist as dual engines.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks are getting two quality young players here in Dort and Giddey. That isn’t the point. They’re getting six unprotected first-round picks.
With that said, perhaps Dallas would prefer to get better players back.
If so, they’ll like this next deal better.
