Why The Detroit Pistons Do The Deal 

This would be an aggressive push for the Pistons. Some of their fans may not like it. 

At the same time, one wonders if they’d look a little different had Cade Cunningham been available this season. He’s been injured for most of the year. The Pistons would likely still be in the lottery, but they may not be at the bottom of it. 

As it stands, they are. That’s fine. This organization likely isn’t upset about their chances of adding Victor Wembanyama to their core. Imagine if they did so, and added Ingram as well. 

We could be talking about a potential future dynasty. Even if the Pistons don’t land the French phenom, they’ll be selecting a big-name prospect in the upcoming draft.
