As implied, the Clippers do this deal if they employed. Anything short of a Western Conference Finals appearance would qualify as a letdown for this club. 

In that event, major changes will likely be on the table. The Clippers may look to replace Ty Lue. They may even look to replace one of Leonard or George. 

If they’re going that route, it would likely make sense to acquire a point guard. This has been an area of weakness for the Clippers.

This team has perpetually tried to run past-their-prime stars like John Wall and Russell Westbrook at that position.

Murray would be a much better option. Meanwhile, Collins could be a reclamation project here – he still holds value as an athletic combo big who can space the floor.
