Why The Atlanta Hawks Do The Deal
Remember that discussion about Murray’s fit with Young?
It doesn’t apply here. Brown is as impactful off the ball as he is with it in his hands. His pairing with Young is perfect.
Perhaps this is the type of player the Hawks should always have sought to pair with their star point guard. Young can handle the ball-handling and playmaking duties. All he needs is an alpha scorer who holds his own on the defensive side of the floor.
That’s Brown. He’s worth the cost they’re paying here. Brown would be replacing Hunter in the starting lineup anyway.
