They’ll have another lottery pick this summer, too. That ought to be enough. With that in mind, why not add another floor spacer? Lineups featuring one of Jalen Duren or James Wiseman, Bojan Bogdanovic, McDermott, Jaden Ivey, and Cade Cunningham ought to be formidable. 

Of course, the Pistons wouldn’t; flip Bagley for McDermott on his own. That’s why they’re getting a lottery protected first here. Who knows what kind of player they could land with it?
