Let’s elaborate on that last statement. 

Some will find it questionable. Bagley, for what it’s worth, is a combo big man. In theory, he could co-exist with Wembanyama. With that said, we don’t think it’s an optimal pairing. 

After all, Bagley should spend most of his time at the 5 as a poor shooter. With that said, let’s assume the Spurs don’t draft Wembanyama. Suddenly, this is a great acquisition for them. 

Bagley may not be living up to his draft status. He’s still an exciting young player who’s trending upward.
