Gobert may be the best rim-protecting big in the NBA. He’s also offensively limited. Outside of finishing pick-and-rolls and setting screens, he doesn’t offer much.
What more does Young need in a big man? We’ve already seen how effective he is with Capela – Gobert is the rich man’s version. This deal ought to make the Timberwolves a more balanced team too:
