Why The New York Knicks Do The Deal 

In many ways, the Knicks haven’t been predictable in the past few years as well. It was widely expected that they would hoard their draft capital in order to make a deal for a star.

This year’s deadline came and went, and they didn’t live up to their predictions. To acquire Josh Hart from the Portland Trail Blazers, the Knicks traded a first-round pick to the team. 

Perhaps the Knicks are more focused on building a good team than anything else. There was no doubt that they would be competitive in 2022-23 – adding quality veteran talent will only make that more likely to happen. 

How about Rozier? In addition to being a dynamic offensive guard, he is also capable of creating shots for himself and others as well. There is no doubt that he will make this team a better one.

How much better? It is a little more difficult to predict what will happen with that.
