Why The Los Angeles Clippers Do The Deal 

It’s hard to imagine two franchises in more different situations. 

The Rockets are distinctly rebuilding. In fact, they’ve got the worst record in the NBA. On the other hand, the Clippers are in win-now mode. 

Until recently, that wasn’t going so well for them. Lately, the Clippers are turning it on. Adding a quality veteran like Gordon should only make them stronger. 

After all, Gordon can create his own shot, and he’s also a lethal floor spacer. He’s an inconsistent defender, but he’s likely to be playing with a newfound sense of purpose should he land on a contender.
