After all, Paul is already aging. Rozier would give the Suns a lead guard besides Devin Booker again. Meanwhile, Oubre Jr. is a solid Crowder replacement as an athletic wing with defensive value.
Moreover, Bismack Biyombo is a productive big man. The Suns may be able to find a quality rotation big in the buyout market, too. All told, Ayton’s skillset is more expendable than Rozier’s.
