Young may have developed into a quality role player, but it’s not showing on the Raptors this year. 

In fact, he’s often a victim of the dreaded “DNP – Coaches’ Decision”, It’s hard to say what’s keeping him off the floor in Toronto, but one thing is certain: he isn’t seeing much time on the floor. 

With that in mind, the Raptors might as well get something for him. The same holds for Porter Jr., who, unfortunately, is out for the season with an injury. 

A pair of second-round picks is something. Moreover, Bertans’ contract may be bad, but it’s not unmoveable.
