There’s never been a time in NBA history when shooting was more important.
Surely, you’ve heard tell of the three-point revolution. In 2023, single players shoot as many threes in a game as teams used to.
Of course, shooting isn’t the only valuable skill in the NBA. Shot creation holds equal weight. All told, teams need both – they need players who can create shots and players who can knock them down.
Tim Hardaway Jr. of the Dallas Mavericks can sure knock them down. When he gets hot, he’s one of the best movement shooters in the NBA.
By contrast, Caris LeVert is inconsistent from deep, but he can create shots for himself and his teammates.
Could the two switch teams this season?
