Meanwhile, the Heat haven’t been the only disappointing team in the NBA’s Eastern Conference. At 6-10, the Chicago Bulls have been pretty disappointing too.

Of course, NBA historians know that neither of these teams are strangers to success. 

In fact, the Bulls made it difficult for any other team to win a championship through the 1990s. They won 6 out of the decade’s 10. Some would argue it was the most dominant dynasty we’ve ever seen. 

The Miami Heat have never had such a dynasty. On the other hand, they’ve been mostly competitive since the early 2000s. The franchise also has 3 NBA titles to show for their work during that time frame.

Still, with the way 2022-23 is going, it would be hard to imagine either of these teams walking away with the Larry O’Brien trophy. At least, not unless they make significant changes.
