As it happens, Kyrie Irving is pretty good at it.
In fact, very few players in this league are better. For all of his personal shortcomings, Irving is one of the most talented basketball players we’ve ever seen. His ball handling is perhaps the very best in the history of the sport.
Meanwhile, many expected the Spurs to tank this season. If they had any intention of doing so, they’re off to a poor start. Why not acquire a star if they’re already winning games?
