After all, a star NBA player is going to want a certain amount of touches. Moreover, he’s going to want a certain amount of credit, too. An NBA team needs to assemble a lot of talent, but it’s equally important for that talent to be willing to play together. 

Just ask the Brooklyn Nets. This team entered the 2021-22 season with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden on their roster.

Perhaps they had too much talent to co-exist. Either way, Harden is gone, and Ben Simmons is in his place.
