Why The Chicago Bulls Do The Deal 

Even if Anunoby doesn’t actually have those playmaking abilities, he’d be a good acquisition for the Bulls. 

After all, a 3-and-D wing is a quality acquisition for any contending team. Anunoby is one of the league’s best. If he doesn’t contribute any more to their cause than he already does for the Raptors, he’d still be a good target for them. 

Moreover, if he does have some hidden abilities, that could be a huge bonus for the Bulls. In fact, it may allow them to trade Nikola Vucevic. He’s an outstanding offensive player, but he’s a little lacking on the defensive end of the floor. 

If Anunoby could be Chicago’s third option, he could open up some options for this club.
