Why The Chicago Bulls Do The Deal 

The Bulls shouldn’t rush to make this deal, either. They should wait for more of the season to play out before making any major decisions. 

As it stands, they’re 3-2. Meanwhile, they managed to amass that record with LaVine sidelined for two games. At the moment, there’s no reason for the Bulls to panic. 

On the other hand, if their season goes south, they could decide to rebuild. After all, this roster doesn’t necessarily scream “contender”. The Bulls could justify joining the race to the bottom in an effort to draft Victor Wembanyama. 

That would be a risk. After all, the Bulls owe their first-round pick to the Blazers with top-four protections. At the same time, they own most of their draft capital moving forward.
