Golden State Warriors receive: F/C Al Horford
Boston Celtics receive: F/C Draymond Green
Of course, if the Warriors do move Green, he should feel thankful to have spent so much time with one team. Every NBA player isn’t so lucky.
Take Al Horford, He’s been an outstanding NBA player for a long time, and yet, he’s done his stare of moving around. In fact, he’s had a roller coaster of an NBA career.
As an Atlanta Hawk, Horford was a perennial All-Star. Moreover, he was a vital part of many highly competitive squads. Eventually, it was time for him and the organization to part ways.
Meanwhile, he never quite seemed to fit on the Philadelphia 76ers. Perhaps it was his fit alongside Joel Embiid. Horford has always been capable of playing the 4, but alongside a full-time star 5, he seldom found minutes at his most natural position. Either way, their marriage didn’t last for long.
