If you haven’t heard, the Los Angeles Lakers have a lot of problems. That hasn’t changed as the 2022-23 NBA season starts.

In 2021-22, this team rostered two former MVPs in LeBron James and Russell Westbrook. Oh, and Anthony Davis. The Lakers were supposed to be a powerhouse. 

Instead, they built a house of mirrors. The Lakers finished the season with 34 wins. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say it was one of the most disappointing seasons in NBA history. 

Surely, you know what’s coming here. It’s a Russell Westbrook trade – it’s always a Russell Westbrook trade.
